Westminster Cooperative Preschool
Westminster Cooperative Preschool provides excellent early childhood education and is a way for Westminster to give back to the community and reach out to young families. Classes are taught by Becky Nika and Keri Tate. The two-and-a-half and three-year-old class meets two mornings per week, the three- and four-year-old class meets three mornings a week. There is also an afternoon Pre-K class, for four and a half and five year olds, which meets four afternoons a week.
The Preschool is accountable to the Session through the Education Committee and has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since 2005. NAEYC provides resources and training to early childhood professionals as well as to families who wish to learn more about finding quality early-childhood programs.
