Children of Abraham
Serving Our Community
Children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 are invited to quarterly gatherings hosted by four faith communities: Grace United Methodist Church, The Islamic Society of Greater Springfield, Springfield Board of Jewish Education, and Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Youth in Grade 6 – 12 are invited to partake in their own gatherings during the same timeframe and to join in the fellowship of the meal. The youth gatherings are coordinated by Shahnila Baqai and the Reverend Susan Phillips.
Children and youth from all faith communities are invited as we build friendships, learn about one another, and share a vegetarian meal. The 2025-2026 theme is: “Strength in Diversity.” Join us as we explore the strength and beauty of diversity within each of our faiths.
