2024 Summer Mission Trip |
2024 Theme: Jumping in with Both Feet - Loving God and Neighbor
2024 Youth Mission Team LEAD WORSHIP! Thirteen youth and eleven adult mentors participated in Rebuilding Hope in New Orleans (RHINO) at St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church. The team also visited the World War II Museum in NOLA and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in Jackson, MS.
This year the youth raised $12,490 toward their mission trip including $1,550 at the Eggtastic Breakfast, $4,305 at the Trivia Night, and $2,127 during the Car Wash/Bake Sale. The youth received $1,088 from the Pentecost Offering and $3,420 from donations. Thank you to the collaboration and teamwork of our youth, their parents, adult mentors, and this generous congregation.
