VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2020

Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of God's power.
Ephesians 6:10

July 1: The Belt of Truth through the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. (Daniel 3)

July 8: The Breastplate of Justice -
David was an unlikely hero. A small shepherd boy, armed only with a sling and five smooth stones. David was protected by a sense of justice and righteousness. He went into battle knowing that our God is a God of justice. He launched a stone into the air, and Goliath fell. David was "strong in the Lord and in the strength of God's power."
July 15: The Shoes of Peace (Luke 2:1-20)
July 22: The Shield of Faith (Matthew 14:22-23)
July 29: The Helmet of Salvation (Acts 16:16-40)

Our brave knights learned how these protective pieces of armor work in the lives of familiar Bible characters and explored how that armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God.

Highlights from 2019 VBS - "To Mars and Beyond!

Thank you to our incredible leadership team of 54 youth and adults, we welcomed 84 children to VBS. (66 from the community). Each day our children were greeted by the alien EP3:20, whose name comes from our Bible verse for the week, Ephesians 3:20. Glory to God who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by God’s power at work within us. EP3:20 reminds us to Go Beyond with faith, boldness, kindness, thankfulness and hope.

Activities were available for potty-trained children from 3 years old through grade 5.
