Obituary:
Kellsey Bennett Proctor Twesme, 32, of Ridgecrest, CA, passed away from injuries sustained in a cycling/ automobile accident on Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Ridgecrest, CA.


Kellsey was born on April 24, 1980 in Springfield, the daughter of Kevin G. and Carolyn R. Edwards Proctor. She married Joseph Twesme on October 10, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kellsey was a 1998 graduate of Southeast High School in Springfield. She then earned her Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2002 from the University of Arizona in Tucson. She was employed by the Department of Defense at the Naval Air Warfare Center at China Lake, CA. She enjoyed softball, golf, long-distance running, snowboarding, cycling, swimming, hiking, competing in triathlons and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Mary Lou Proctor, Art and Mary Helen Edwards; and her uncle, Doug Edwards.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Twesme of Ridgecrest, CA; her parents, Kevin and Carolyn Proctor of Springfield; brother, Zach (wife, Kensie) Proctor of Springfield; in-laws, Dr. Ted and Mary Twesme of Henderson, NV; aunt and uncle, Kris and Mark Skube of Edmond, OK and aunt, Chris Edwards of Springfield; great aunt and uncle, Alice and Ernie Antonacci of Springfield; brother-in-law, Lee (wife, Carrie) Twesme of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-law, Erika (husband, Grant) Stanley of Las Vegas, NV; one niece Abigail Proctor and three nephews, Zachary Proctor, Jacob and Taylor Twesme and several cousins, including Justin (wife, Marisa) Skube of Edmond, OK, Jarin Skube of New York, NY, and Kirsti Carter of Sherman.

Memorial Gathering & Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 533 S. Walnut, Springfield. The memorial ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Julie Wells Blythe officiating. Private family inurnment will be at the Westminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden.
