Obituary:
SPRINGFIELD - Lisa Kacevicius, 56, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at St. John's Hospital, after a courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's disease.

Lisa was born September 21, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Allen and Carolyn Land Rudolph. She married Michael R. Kacevicius on May 26, 1984, in Dawson.

Lisa was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and also graduated from Illinois State University in 1978 with a Bachelors of Science. She worked at Memorial Medical Center from 1981-2006 as a secretary. Lisa was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles, going on cruises, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Michael Kacevicius of Springfield; daughter, Cassandra Barber of Springfield; step-son, Brian (Mandy) Kacevicius of Riverton; three grandchildren, Jesse Kacevicius, Porter Landgrebe, and Elijah Kacevicius; parents, Carolyn and Allen Rudolph of St. Charles, Mo.; and brother, Eric Rudolph of Greenup, Ill.

Memorial Ceremony: The family will be hosting a memorial ceremony at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 533 S. Walnut St., Springfield, with Rev. Julie Wells Blythe officiating and Brian Kacevicius reading.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lisa Kacevicius Memorial Fund at any Bank of Springfield location.
