NORMA ADAMS-JOHNSON
Norma Adams-Johnson is retired from Illinois State Board of Education where she served as an Account Technician. She joined Westminster in 1985 and has previously served as Deacon and Elder and served on many church committees. Together she and her husband, Frank have 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Her many interests include music, baking, gardening and sewing. |
MARC J. ANDERSON
Marc Anderson worked as a surveyor and engineering technician throughout his career and has held numerous offices including President of Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association. He graduated from Rantoul Township High School and Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois. Marc has served Westminster as Deacon and Elder.. |
DEB COONTZ
Deb Coontz retired from Springfield Clinic with 26 years in business management. Deb is active in Presbyterian Women's Association and Lydia Circle. Deb is married to Dave Coontz and they have one son, Drew. She is involved in community service organizations including Knights Daughters, AAUW, and PEO. |
JOHN CROSS
John Cross currently serves as Legislative Liaison to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. His 30+ year career in public service has included work with Illinois House Republican Staff, Pollution Control Board, and Illinois Department of Agriculture. John is a graduate of Illinois College in Jacksonville and received his Masters in Public Administration from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. John enjoys traveling. |
DEE DEE DUFFY
Dee Dee is a teacher for Springfield Public Schools and the author of two children's books. Dee Dee received her B.S. in Early Childhood and Kindergarten/Primary from Bradley University and her M.Ed. in Reading and Literacy from Benedictine University. Dee Dee is married to Rick Duffy and they have four children: Kirsten, Kyle, Regan, and Reiley. Along with serving Westminster, Dee Dee is a volunteer coordinator at Bright Star Equestrian Center and enjoys many outdoor activities. |
JIM KINCAID
Jim Kincaid is a financial analyst for the state of Illinois. He has also been an adjunct instructor at LLCC and has written many books on business-related subjects. Jim has graduate degrees in Business Administration and English. Jim has been a WPC member since 2003 and has previously served on the Board of Deacons. He is currently a teacher of the Confirmation Prep class. |
TODD KNOX
Todd Knox is an anesthesiologist at Memorial Medical Center. Todd graduated from University of California, Davis followed by medical school at Loyola University and residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. He was raised in the Mennonite Brethren Church in California and has embraced Westminster as his home church for 25 plus years. He and his wife Judy have raised their three children, Greg, Natalie, and Matthew, at Westminster and in the Springfield public school system. |
MARY CAROLINE MITCHELL
Mary Caroline Mitchell is the founding director of Interchurch Refugee and Immigration Program at the Illinois Conference of Churches and founding director of Caregiver Interfaith Volunteer Services, as well as St. John's Hospital Third Age Living Program Coordinator Community Outreach and retired as LLCC Associate of Alumni Relations for University of Illinois Alumni Association at UIS. Mary Caroline graduated from Austin College in Sherman, TX with a B.A. in Classics and received her Master of Christian Education from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Mary Caroline is married to David Mitchell with whom she shares four children and seven grandchildren. Mary Caroline is active in the community and enjoys running, gardening and cooking. |
