Julie Barton
Julie Barton was raised Presbyterian in Salem, Illinois and joined Westminster in 1997. She graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with her degree in dental hygiene and has worked in the field since then. Julie and her husband, Brian have one son, Braden, who grew up at Westminster. Julie regularly stocks the Graham Little Pantry and enjoys community service, movies, music, and cake decorating. |
Greg Boutelle
Greg joined Westminster in 2018 along with his wife Lindsay and two daughters, Brooke and Juliet. He is graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in meteorology. He is employed by Illinois Environmental Protection Agency in ambient air monitoring. He loves outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, and habitat preservation. |
Kyle Duffy
Kyle Duffy grew up at Westminster along with his parents, Rick and Dee Dee and siblings: Kirsten, Regan and Reiley. Kyle went to Springfield High School and Lincoln Land Community College. He is employed as the Team Leader on blood drives for ImpactLife. Kyle has served on three mission trips and loves growing through his work with the youth. |
Deb Fritsch
Debbie Fritsch is a lifelong resident of Springfield and joined Westminster in 2020. She is the proud mother of Matthew of Kansas City and Tara who is in the 2026 Westminster Elder Class. Deb has been employed by the State of Illinois and the family business, HF Fritsch and Sons. She is a St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching thoroughbred horse racing. |
Joyce King
Joyce King is a life-long resident of Springfield and joined Westminster this past spring. She attended Lincoln Land Community College. She worked for the State of Illinois and retired as bookkeeper from Illinois Fraternal Order of Police. Joyce has 2 children and 6 grandchildren. Joyce enjoys spending time with family, traveling, crocheting, gardening, and music. |
Dr. Todd Lafrenz
Dr. Todd Lafrenz joined the church this past spring and their family quickly jumped into Westminster activities. Todd received his PhD in Physical Inorganic Chemistry and was a college professor for 20 years. He now works for Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security in the Office of Nuclear Safety. Todd is interested in green energy and being part of our Earth Care team. He and his wife Angie have 2 daughters: Emilie just graduated from Millikin University and Maria is a freshman at Springfield High School and works in our nursery on Sunday mornings. Todd enjoys boating, golf, scuba diving and family activities. |
Bernie Wiseman
Bernie Wiseman and his wife Randy joined Westminster in 2022. Bernie graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BA in Music Education. He taught music for a few years but spent most of his career in state government. His love for music led him to conduct and perform choral music for over 38 years. He and Randy have two adult children. |
Randy Wiseman
Randy Wiseman grew up in Metropolis, IL, attended McKendree University in Lebanon, and then taught elementary school in southern Illinois before moving to Springfield. Unable to find a classroom teaching position at that time, she took an education position with the IL Dept of Natural Resources and later joined the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum where she taught teachers until her retirement. Randy is married to Bernie, who currently serves as deacon and together they have shared their mutual love of music as church musicians with various local churches. She and Bernie share five adult children and 12 grandchildren. Randy currently tutors our Nicaraguan family and is involved in Presbyterian Women. |
