Obituary:
Byron “Bud” A. Bartlett, 77, of Springfield, IL died Monday, May 1, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.  Bud was born February 14, 1940 to Byron E. and Edna Y. (Lodwick) Bartlett in Las Vegas, NV, and they preceded him in death.

Bud served his country in the US National Guard and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield, IL.  He received his Master’s Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Denver and spent his working career in broadcasting and being a published author.

He is survived by his sister, Janice Spencer of Las Vegas, NV.
​
A memorial service is planned for Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11am, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield, IL.
