Pastor and Head of Staff

Picture
The Reverend Dr. Anne C.S. Marshall
Rev. Dr. Ann C.S. Marshall began her service at Westminster on September 2, 2025 and was installed as Westminster's 19th Pastor on October 12, 2025.

Anne is passionate about cultivating intergenerational community, creating a culture of Biblical hospitality rooted in the radical love of Jesus, and nurturing faith development across all life stages. Her ministry began through a pastoral residency focused on leadership development, particularly for service in larger congregations.

While serving at Fairlawn Presbyterian Church in Indiana, Anne engaged deeply in church revitalization efforts and pursued doctoral work to explore how Presbyterians can move beyond intellectual faith into more embodied worship practices.  Her coursework included "Spiritual Leadership for Mission, Evangelism in the 21st Century,” and focused studies in liturgy and worship.

Dr. Marshall received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude from Ohio State University, a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Christian Education from Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA and a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, PA with a focus on Biblical Hospitality, Worship, and Church Revitalization. Following the  completion of her Masters, Dr. Marshall was a Lake Fellow in Parish Ministry at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, IN.

Anne comes to Westminster from the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming, OH (near Cincinnati) where she co-pastored with her husband Gray. She served as Director of Contextual and Experiential Learning at Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University in Bexley, OH for 3 years. Previously, she served as Head of Staff at Fairlawn Presbyterian Church in Columbus, IN.

Anne is married to Gray, also a PC(USA) pastor.  They met at Union Presbyterian Seminary and have been married for nearly 17 years.  Gray has a heart for small church ministry and pastoral care and is currently exploring work opportunities in the presbytery as well as chaplaincy.  He also enjoys video editing and graphic design, creating content for Inside Bowling’s social media channels.  They have two sons: Henry, in 7th grade, who loves basketball, soccer, chess, and video games like Rocket League and Grow a Garden and Simon, in 4th grade, is interested in all things engineering including Mark Rober videos, and Cub Scouts.
