Springfield - Kevin Gene Proctor, 74, of Springfield, IL passed away on August 5, 2024.
Kevin was born November 24, 1949 to Gene and Mary Lou Proctor. After graduating from Springfield High School 1968, he served 4 years in the US Navy. He worked in retail and retired from IDOT in 2012.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Kellsey; brother-in-law Mark Skube. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn; son Zach (Kensie); grandchildren Zachary and Abigail; sister Kris Skube and her children Justin and Jarin.
A private family service will be held. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
