View of the façade from the east of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield, Illinois. This is the same aspect given in the original presentation drawing from the architects Cram, Goodhue and Ferguson showing the three tall lancet windows, the unique double entry portals, and the separate bell tower. |

The chancel screen, stalls and sedilia of carved oak were a gift of Robert Todd Lincoln. Surrounding the communion table is the inscription "For as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup ye do shew the Lord's death til he come." Behind the communion table is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed plant stand. Crowning the chancel screen is the bold Transfiguration Window with the figure of Jesus flanked by Moses and Elijah. Below the main figures are Peter, James and John. The window was a gift of Clinton Conkling and designed by Harry Goodhue of Boston. |

The Baptismal Font, located on the left hand side of the chancel, is a Bertram Goodhue design with a foliated grapevine motif encircling the lower basin. A heavy oak cover is braced with a brass cross fleury. |

The centerpiece of the western terrace is a font with a repeated quatrefoil design. The quatrefoil design appears on the pew ends in the church, in the border of the Transfiguration Window, and in the needlepoint cushions of the chancel. |

The Memorial Garden is a walled garden on the east front of the church. In the center of the garden is a tall Celtic cross featuring the post-resurrection appearances of Jesus in the garden depicted in panels separated by traditional Celtic knot-work panels. |
