Do you enjoy working with people? Are you new to Westminster? Do you like to drink coffee or bake cookies? If you answered YES to any of these questions we'd love to have your help. You may be asking "help with what?"
Congregational Fellowship is a Deacon's committee at Westminster. But, don't let this scare you. You don't have to be a Deacon to be on the committee or to help with an event. What you do need is a willingness to help on a Sunday by serving coffee and being social with the members of the church. Maybe you could bake cookies or a cake for an event that is taking place or volunteer to help with a reception, such as the 100th Birthday party, Confirmation, Baccalaureate, or Christmas Eve. Do you like to show off your culinary talents? Every October, Westminster holds the Taste of Westminster showcase. This is an opportunity for members to offer their favorite drinks, salads, meals, or desserts to the congregation and meet other members.
The Congregational Fellowship Committee also offers its love and support to staff, clergy, and WPC members by helping them celebrate staff accomplishments, wish godspeed to those who may be leaving, and recognizing moments of joy for the church. If you are interested in volunteering for one or more events, please call or email the church office with your contact information or call to find out who the current chair of the committee is so that you may contact them directly.
Thank you and God Bless,
The Congregational Fellowship Committee.
